Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy describes how Battleground Sensitivity (“we”, “us”, “the app”) collects, uses, and protects your information when you use our mobile application.
1. Information We Collect
Account information
- Your email address (from Google Sign-In)
- Your Google display name (optional, used for personalisation)
- A unique Firebase Authentication ID (UID)
Device information
For abuse prevention and to surface relevant content:
- A hashed device signature (not your raw device ID)
- Device model and manufacturer (to match you with relevant sensitivity profiles)
- Screen size and chipset information
- Android OS version and app version
- SIM-derived country code only (e.g. "IN" for India). We do not read or store your phone number. The SIM is checked once at sign-in to detect your country, which is used to assign your account to the correct BGMI/PUBG content tier and prevent tier spoofing.
User-generated content
When you submit a sensitivity profile, control layout, or campaign entry:
- The sensitivity values you enter (camera, ADS, gyro, scope-specific values)
- The control layout you enter (button positions, sizes, opacity, gyro toggle settings)
- Your in-game name and BGMI/PUBG in-game ID, if you choose to provide them (used to deliver redemption rewards and to verify campaign applications)
- Optional YouTube channel URL and Instagram handle, if you choose to share them on a campaign application (used to verify your player profile during admin review)
- Optional player attribution (display name, region, role) when you contribute as a known player
- Screenshots you upload (reviewed by our moderators before publication)
- Campaign applications, including device fingerprint for one-entry-per-device enforcement
- Submission notes or descriptions you add to help others judge fit
Personalisation data
- Sensitivity profiles, control layouts, and tip articles you save to favourites — stored under your account so they sync across reinstalls
- Selected theme preference
- Toggle states for news and tip notifications
- Your votes on in-app polls (kept under your account so each user counts once per poll and can see their own past responses)
Support email
- Emails you send to support are received in our admin inbox and may include the message body, attachments, and the sender email address you used
- We retain support emails for service quality, dispute resolution, and account-recovery audit trails
Reward economy data
- In-app points balance and earnings audit log
- Rewarded ad views (server-verified credits, retained 12 months for fraud analysis)
- Daily streak counters and milestone progress
- Redemption order history (in-game UC, gift codes, etc.)
- Manual balance adjustments by admin support, with reason and audit trail
Notifications
- FCM device token (used to send news and tip alerts when you opt in)
- Per-user notification inbox state (read / unread)
- Topic subscriptions for news, tips, and country-specific announcements
Automatically collected
- Approximate IP address (used by Firebase for abuse prevention and by admin actions for audit logs)
- Device integrity attestation (via Firebase App Check using Google Play Integrity API — verifies the app hasn't been tampered with; no personal data, no profiling)
2. How We Use Your Information
- Authenticate your account and bind it to a single device (anti-multi-account)
- Display sensitivity profiles relevant to your device, players you follow, and community contributions
- Surface control layouts that match your device dimensions
- Credit points for rewarded ads (server-side verified)
- Operate the daily streak / multiplier reward economy
- Process redemption orders and deliver gift codes to your registered email
- Review and verify campaign submissions (two-step admin moderation)
- Power your Favourites tab so saved content syncs across reinstalls
- Receive and respond to your support emails
- Detect and prevent fraud, abuse, and multi-account exploitation
- Send you push notifications you've opted into
3. Advertising
We bundle the following ad-network SDKs to show rewarded, interstitial, banner, and app-open ads:
- Google AdMob — Google's Privacy Policy
- Unity Ads — Unity's Privacy Policy
In the current version of the app, ads are served primarily through Unity Ads. The AdMob SDK is initialized at app start (as required to bundle it) and may activate to serve ads in future updates without a new app version, controlled via our remote configuration.
Both partners may collect a mobile advertising identifier (AAID) and basic device info to serve relevant ads. You can opt out of personalised ads in Android Settings → Privacy → Ads.
We do not share your email, account ID, or user-submitted content with ad networks.
4. Data Sharing
We do not sell your personal data. We share data only with:
- Firebase (Google) — our backend (Auth, Firestore, Storage, FCM, App Check, Cloud Functions)
- Google AdMob and Unity Ads — for ad delivery and server-side reward verification
- Law enforcement — only if compelled by a valid legal process
5. Data Retention
- Account data: kept until you delete your account
- Submitted content: kept while published; retained briefly after removal for moderation history
- Ad reward audit logs: retained for 12 months for fraud analysis (uid is anonymised to
__deleted__when you delete your account) - Device-binding records: retained until you delete your account or admin clears the binding for support reasons
6. Account Deletion
You can permanently delete your account and all associated data from Settings → Delete Account inside the app. Deletion is immediate. Deleted in full:
- Your user profile and points balance
- Your favourites (sensitivity profiles, controls, tips) and notification inbox
- Your in-game IDs and device bindings
- Community submissions you authored (sensitivity profiles, control layouts) and any of them that were promoted to the public catalogue
- FCM tokens and topic subscriptions tied to your account
Retained but anonymised — these records keep their
content but your uid is overwritten with
__deleted__ so they cannot be linked back to you:
- Earnings audit rows — retained 12 months for fraud and tax analysis
- Campaign applications — retained as proof of the completed reward contract. When you submit sensitivity values or a control layout to a campaign, you receive in-app points (UC) in exchange. Because that data is the consideration for the reward you received, we keep it after you delete your account, with your personal identifier severed.
Note: there is no in-app option to delete an individual community submission in the current version. Use account deletion to remove community submissions, or email us to ask us to take down a specific submission while keeping your account.
You can also request deletion by emailing us. Include your Firebase UID (visible in Settings → Account ID) to speed up the response.
7. Children's Privacy
Battleground Sensitivity is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13. If you believe we have collected such information, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.
8. Your Rights
Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to:
- Access the data we hold about you
- Correct inaccurate data
- Delete your data (use in-app account deletion)
- Object to or restrict processing
- Request data portability
Contact us at the email below to exercise these rights.
9. Security
- All data transmitted over HTTPS
- Passwords are managed by Google — we never see them
- Sensitive data (service-account keys, admin TOTP secrets) is stored encrypted at rest
- Firestore security rules enforce per-user access control on every read and write
- Admin destructive actions (account deletion, balance adjustments) require Google Authenticator codes plus a typed-confirmation step
No online service is 100% secure; we will notify affected users promptly if we discover a material data breach.
10. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy. Material changes will be announced in-app. Continued use of the app after a change constitutes acceptance of the updated policy. The “Last updated” date at the top reflects the current version.
