Delete Your Account
Battleground Sensitivity
(developer: Shanu Tyagi, package
com.pubg.sensitivity) gives you two ways to permanently
delete your account and the personal data tied to it. Both routes lead
to the same outcome: your data is removed within 24 hours of the
request being processed.
Option 1 — Delete from inside the app (recommended)
This is the fastest path and works for any user who can still sign in.
- Open Battleground Sensitivity on your Android device.
- Tap Profile in the bottom navigation bar.
- Tap Settings (gear icon, top-right).
- Scroll to the bottom and tap Delete Account.
- Confirm by typing
DELETEwhen prompted.
Deletion is immediate. The app will sign you out automatically once processing finishes (usually within a few seconds).
Option 2 — Request deletion by email
Use this if you have lost access to the account, uninstalled the app, or cannot sign in for any reason.
- Email battleground.app@gmail.com from the Google account you used to sign in.
-
Use the subject line:
Account deletion request. -
In the body, include any of the following to help us locate the
account quickly:
- The Google email address you signed in with
- Your Firebase UID, if you remember it (shown in Settings → Account ID inside the app)
- Your in-game ID (BGMI or PUBG), if you set one
We respond within 72 hours on business days. Once we verify ownership, deletion is performed within 24 hours and a confirmation email is sent.
What gets deleted
The same deletion runs whether you trigger it from inside the app or via email. Two categories:
Deleted in full (irrecoverable)
- Your user profile, points (UC) balance, and tier assignment
- Your favourites — sensitivity profiles, control layouts, tips you saved
- Your in-game IDs (BGMI / PUBG) and device bindings
- Community submissions you authored (sensitivity profiles, control layouts), and any of those that were promoted to the public catalogue
- Notification inbox messages
- FCM (push notification) tokens and topic subscriptions
Retained but anonymised
A small set of records keeps its content but has your
personal identifier overwritten with the literal string
__deleted__ so the row cannot be linked back to you.
- Ad reward audit logs — retained for 12 months for fraud and tax analysis. Required for ad-network and accounting compliance. After 12 months they are purged automatically.
- Campaign applications — retained as proof of the completed reward contract. When you submit sensitivity values or a control layout to a paid campaign, you receive in-app points in exchange. Because that data is the consideration for the reward you already received, we keep the submission after deletion with your personal identifier severed.
- Device-binding records — retained until you delete your account. (These are deleted in full above.)
Anonymised records cannot be reversed. Once your uid is
replaced with __deleted__, neither we nor anyone else can
tell which deleted user the row used to belong to.
What is not kept
To make the boundaries explicit:
- We do not store your phone number. The SIM is read once at sign-in only to detect your country code (e.g. “IN”) for content tier assignment.
- We do not store passwords. Authentication is handled entirely by Google Sign-In; we never see your password.
- We do not sell your data to advertisers, brokers, or any third party.
Removing the app from your device
Uninstalling the app from your phone does not delete your server-side account. To remove all server-side data, follow Option 1 or Option 2 above.
